Newlands Library

Our cherished library is a community hub, where programmes are delivered and people engage in lifelong learning. Newlands Library has state of the art library programmes that are in line with the 4th industrial revolution. We offer information literacy and e-learning training amongst other self improvement resources. The library also offers homework assistance to school children as well as a conducive environment for learning. We have a good relationship with local schools and they also participate in programmes like Battle of the Book and Story Skirmish competitions. The programmes are designed to promote literacy and the importance of the libraries to younger generation and the community at large. We generally believe in community building and aim to support all members of the community with both books and research material in order to promote a better learnered community that constantly improves and thrives.
