COMPETITION TIMELINE

  • 09 February 2026-Register and participate until 25 April 2026
  • On 26th April 2026, the school with the highest number of passes and participants will win a prize Voucher. Finalists from Grade 8s in all participating schools will be selected and announced to prepare for finals.
  • They will read 4 NEW online stories in preparation for the finals until 20 June 2026

From 20 June 2026 each provincial municipality will select a date for their finals.  The finals will be held at selected venues where they will answer quiz questions from the stories they read. From the finals, the top 3 performing schools will win prizes.
